Length Does Not Matter
When the notion of a holiday enters our mind the tendency is to immediately gravitate to a scenario where there are several days of unwinding involved. They daily routine can place a serious burden on a persons ability to get out of his or her routine thought patterns, so the desire to escape is always at the forefront of our busy minds. Long trips really facilitate our ability to detach ourselves from the stress and pressure of daily life. The disposition of most people on the first day of vacation is entirely different than the state of their mind on around day seven. The reality that we must face is that life does not always open a seven-day window for our relaxation needs. If there are to be breaks at all, short breaks must be considered.
Getaways that encompass a couple or few days are sometimes a greater adventure than long term engagements. The spontaneity of a trip the city might provide a level of excitement that would not otherwise be possible. The short span of a trip also makes each minute worth savoring, and can often lead to a heightened appreciation of the time away. Whatever is available time-wise, a trip is still a trip and that makes it better than nothing.
